Mediation

is a solution-focused process where a neutral party assists individuals in reaching resolution to a dispute through mutual agreement. Participants are in full control of the outcome throughout the process. Therefore, many regard mediation as a win-win scenario. Parties are empowered to negotiate for their best interests rather than turning important life-altering decisions over to the courts. Common concerns are interpersonal or workplace conflict, asset division, and custody(timeshare) schedules for children. Family mediation can assist with reconciling your separation and divorce on your terms and will keep the focus on your child’s best interest.

Parent Coordination

(Separation and Divorce) is a process where a neutral party, a Certified Parent Coordinator (PC), facilitates problem-solving related to co-parenting issues during separation and divorce, which minimizes stress for children by supporting the co-parenting relationship. The PC assists co-parent collaboration in prioritizing choices based on the child’s best interest. The process involves advocacy and education of child developmental stages and psychological needs while supporting the ongoing enhancement of conflict resolution communication, cooperative and mindful decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills for the co-parents. When parent coordination is successful, it will reduce stress for everyone, most importantly the children, and save the co-parents the considerable extra expense and emotional upheaval of ongoing litigation.

Parent Coaching

(Married or Partnered) is a process where a neutral party—a Certified Parent Coordinator/Parent Coach (PC) facilitates problem-solving related to co-parenting issues for married couples or partners who live together in relationship, which minimizes stress for everyone (most importantly, the children) by supporting the co-parenting dynamic. The PC assists co-parent collaboration in prioritizing choices based on the child’s best interest. The process involves advocacy and education of child developmental stages and psychological needs while supporting the ongoing enhancement of conflict resolution communication, cooperative and mindful decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

(Single Parents or Guardians) is also available for single parents or guardians who are the sole caregiver for a child or who have a co-parent who is unable or unwilling to attend sessions. This service is available for caregivers interested in learning about the developmental needs of children and who would like support and guidance in decision-making and planning regarding practicing a conscious and healthy style of childcare that is loving, kind, and structured.
